- Date indicated by the polished waved (serpentine) hand with a half-moon tip, which points to the current date printed on the dial perimeter.
- Retrograde Moonphase at the 6 o'clock position - Applied rhodium-plated white gold full moon & 8 rhodium-plated stars (stars are for aesthetics only). The phases of the moon are indicated by a mother-of-pearl dial with a blue disc that slowly moves over the moon, covering and then exposing it, imitating the waning and waxing of the moon phases. Rather than this hand making complete revolutions, at the end of each moon cycle, the hand flips back to the beginning - this complication is called a "retrograde hand".
