Unlike most calendar watches, where the date is corrected via the crown or a recessed corrector button set in the case edge & which requires a tool to adjust the date, this watch features a corrector lever/button hidden beneath the lug on the case back. This allows for a clean/uninterrupted look of the case edge & also the button can easily be activated with one's fingernails.
